Preamble The anticipated term of this contract is from June 15, 2009 through June 30, 2010. Experience Contractor Minimum Qualifications:
Scope of Work Summary Contractor Responsibilities The Contractor is expected to assess the Client Application's processes to identify where the application of technology might increase efficiency and effectiveness as well as improve customer support. Additionally, the Contractor will evaluate the Client Application's policies to determine whether a change in policy will increase its efficiency and effectiveness. The Client expects the Contractor to work with their Application staff to identify issues with its current processes. The Client does not expect Client Application process maps. The Contractor will deliver an FSR that complies with State Information Management Manual (SIMM) Section 20. The Client intends to seek approval for a business-based procurement for the solution approach identified in the FSR. Additionally, the Contractor will work with the Client Application to seek input from the control agencies while the FSR is under development, and will respond to questions posed by the control agencies once the FSR is submitted. The Contractor will work under the direction of the Division Chief and Project Manager and will prepare a California control agency approved FSR for all aspects of Client Application automation. All recommendations made by the Contractor must comply with California State policies, Client policies and statutory requirements. Before work can begin on altered or additional tasks, the Project Manager must approve any changes to the project scope, work plan, budget or schedule. The Contractor may be required to take up to a total of six trips to regional offices to perform the identified tasks for this assignment. No travel expenses will be reimbursed by the Client. The Contractor will prepare and submit to the Project Manager brief weekly written reports describing the project status, any project issues along with proposed resolutions and all activities performed under this contract during that week. The Contractor will provide documentation and the following deliverables in paper form and in a usable electronic format. The deliverables are components of a California Control Agency approved FSR and must conform to SIMM, Section 20. The target date for delivery of the FSR to the Control Agencies is April 1, 2010. Client receipt of the deliverables must be staggered.
