Preamble
The anticipated term of this contract is
from December 7, 2009 through November 30, 2010.
The Consultant will work under the
direction of the Client Information Technology Division (ITD) staff. The
Consultant is expected to work approximately 30 hours per week for the length of
the contract. Work outside normal business hours may be required, but the
Consultant cannot work more than 1548 hours in twelve consecutive months. The
Client and the Consultant will agree upon the specific days and hours to be
worked.
Work will be carried out at the Client's
Sacramento offices.
Experience
Contractor Minimum Qualifications
The proposed consultant must possess the
following skills and experiences:

A
minimum of five years developing Windows applications using the Microsoft
Visual Basic 6.0. |

A
minimum of five years developing web-based application using classic ASP. |
 |
A
minimum of five years developing custom modules to interface with UeWI or a
similar imaging solution. |
 |
Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UeWI. |
 |
Familiarity with developing PCI compliant applications. |
 |
Developing stored procedures in Oracle 9i. |
 |
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. |
 |
Good oral and written communication skills. |
 |
Strong analytical skills. |
 |
Modify the current client application written in Visual Basic 6.0 to run on a
Windows XP or higher workstation. |
 |
Modify the custom modules for the interface between Unisys eWorkflow and
Imaging system version 8.0 (UeWI) and the current application. |
 |
Assist in upgrading the Unisys eWorkflow and Imaging system version 8.0 (UeWI)
to the most current version. |
 |
Modify the current client and server applications written in Visual Basic 6.0
to be compatible with MS Office 2003 or higher. |
 |
Review the current application for Payment Card Industry Security Standard (PCI)
compliance. |
 |
Modify existing ASP code to meet users’ requirements. |
 |
Provide knowledge transfer to the Client ITD staff. |
 |
Define and document business requirements for new and existing modules as
assigned. |
 |
Develop and test modules for new and existing applications as assigned. |
 |
Participate in code walkthroughs to ensure the program meets the business
requirements and follows the coding standards. |
 |
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans. |
 |
Develop technical documentation for all new and modified modules. |
 |
Analyze and resolve functional and operational problems identified by the end
users. |
