Preamble
The total services period may be up to thirty-six (36) months, with an estimated
150 work hours per month. However, any initial contract resulting
from this requirement will have an end term of June 30, 2010.
All work must be performed on-site at the Client facility in Sacramento,
California. The selected contractor is responsible for all travel costs that may
be associated with providing services on this assignment.
Five years ago the Client deployed their current web application their
customers. Consequently, the Client has identified a need to provide customers
with more online services to provide optimum customer service. Vendor assistance
and guidance will be necessary to ensure that these moderate to high risk
features satisfy the business requirements. The candidate will assist with
testing, measuring and assessing quality, detecting and preventing defects, and
providing stakeholders with test status and results
Experience
It is highly desirable for Proposed Personnel to have experience in and
knowledge of the following items:

Scope of Work Summary
Primary Responsibilities
 |
Create test documentation such as test plans, test cases, and test summary
reports |
 |
Review and provide feedback for test documentation such as test plans, test
cases, and test summary reports and development documentation such as
requirements, use cases, and design specifications |
 |
Identify, analyze, document, and control test risks and the corresponding
impacts, probability, and mitigations plans |
 |
Present test objectives, status, issues, and next steps at project meetings
|
 |
Perform manual testing using test execution checklists |
 |
Provide test guidance, consultation, and training to testing staff |
 |
Identify and contribute to test process improvements |
 |
Create tests by determining input equivalence partition, boundary value,
pairwise, and error classes |
 |
Create tests based on analysis of architecture, data base, detailed design
specifications, code, etc. |
 |
Document traceability of tests to requirements, use cases, and other
applicable development documentation |
 |
Identify, document, and prioritize defects accurately and correctly to enable
developers to identify, reproduce, and correct |

Verify defect fixes and document summary of verification steps |
 |
Identify and document test pre-conditions and post-conditions and interactions
between tests |

Debug and clarify defective and subjective automated and manual tests |
